A little about me
Welcome, I'm Chris Paiva owner/stylist at The Cottage at Crystal Lake hair salon.
After graduating from Mansfield Beauty Academy in Boston, I began my hair styling career working in a salon on the South Shore. Four years later I took a leap of faith and opened Haircraft by Chris in Pembroke, where I spent the next twenty years prior to the opening of The Cottage at Crystal Lake in 2004. I enjoyed not only building my business but also developing relationships with wonderful people, many of whom have become cherished friends.
The hair industry is ever changing. I keep current with the latest in styles, techniques and products. The longevity of my career and the retention of my clients (many having been with me since the start of my career) speak to my skills behind the chair. Your time is valuable; I am prompt. Ample time is scheduled for every appointment, allowing me to be ready and waiting for each client's arrival. That being said, a late client who might affect my next client's time, will be asked to reschedule. You will feel valued as my client, I listen and do my best to accomplish your hair desires.
From the cut to the color and finish...my goal is to make you happy and beautiful.
When I’m not busy doing hair I also make pottery, you can check it out at
www.paivapottery.com if you are interested. My studio is below my salon and I occasionally offer art nights which are announced of Facebook and Instagram (Paiva Pottery on both platforms). 😊
